Archery Tag

Archery tag is amazing! Two teams battle using real bows, and foam tipped arrows, to try and eliminate their opponents. Many game variations are possible, depending on your group size, and the available obstacles. Be sure to ask about the inflatable barriers, and the various locations you can choose.

Spiritual Application

Paul says that our fight is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities and powers.

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” – Ephesians 6:12

Cost:

$10 per person for an hour. Up to 20 people

    Archery

Participants test their skill as they attempt to hit the target from various distances. Campers will be provided with instruction, bow, arrows, and a wrist guard if desired.

    Spiritual Application

Archery lets one experience firsthand “missing the mark”. God’s word reminds us that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). However, God has given us the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23) and if we confess with our mouths “Jesus is Lord” we will be saved (Romans 10:9).

    Cost:

$45 / hour for up to 20 people

    Climbing Wall

At 35 feet high, the wall offers four separate routes, each presenting its own obstacles to overcome. Whether you are a first time climber or a pro, you’re sure to find a challenge to suit your needs.

    Spiritual Application

Life is full of challenges that we must learn to navigate through. Do we give up or do we continue to fight the odds and reach the top?

“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 3:14

    Cost:

    Giant Swing

This giant swing is a thrilling 45′ tall pendulum swing. It’s everything you loved about the swing magnified (or amplified)!

    Spiritual Application

The giant swing reminds us of the swinging pendulum. In the Christian life we have our moments when we are swinging toward Christ and His plan for us. However, sometimes in our pilgrimage of faith we find ourselves swinging away from the One who watches over us.

“He will not let your foot slip – he who watches over you will not slumber” – Psalm 121:3

    Cost:

$50 / hour for up to 10 people

    Jacob’s Ladder

Reaching a height of 30 feet, it is composed of three elements – a rope ladder, a horizontal log climb, and a staggered tire climb. Two participants assist each other up the various components.

    Spiritual Application

In life there are obstacles we face, and sometimes the only way to succeed is to use the friends that God has placed around us.

“One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” – Proverbs 18:24

    Leap of Faith

Similar to a totem pole, the Leap of Faith is a telephone pole with a platform 35 feet in the air. Participants climb the side of the pole to reach the platform and then take their own leap of faith to reach the trapeze.

    Spiritual Application

Most campers, upon reaching the top, hold onto the pole for dear life. They don’t trust the rope of the staff belaying them. What are the poles in our own lives? What keeps us from reaching out and trusting God?

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” – Matthew 17:20

$45 / hour for up to 10 people

    Spiritual Application

In life, we need our brothers and sisters in Christ to come along beside us, especially when we are being attacked by the enemy.

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” – Romans 15:5

    Team Building

Activities designed to develop relationships while competing in a number of physically and mentally challenging initiatives. These games help the group as a whole to reflect on team building strategies and their spiritual applications.

    Spiritual Application

Work is lighter when more hands participate. The Bible uses the metaphor of the human body to illustrate the workings of the church, which can also be applied to coworkers in any given field.

“Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 12:12
