Darren Hill has been involved in camps and retreats for many years in the form of a camper and a staffer. God’s calling on his life is to love students and to show them what it truly means to live like a follower of Jesus. He is passionate about transforming student’s lives through the grace and love of God and trying to represent Jesus through the way he lives his own life. Darren’s experience with teaching and mentoring students ranges from his 8 years of teaching 1st grade to his 2 years of full time ministry at a local church doing youth and college ministry and his many years as a children’s ministry volunteer. His time now is divided between working for his family’s Christian bookstore, leading a college small group, coaching high school volleyball and traveling to speak at children, youth, and college events. Darren and his beautiful wife Emily reside in Livermore, California with their dog Max.
