February 24th – 26th2017
Ages: Jr. High and High School
This weekend is designed for Junior High through High School students and offers Bible-based teaching, worship, organized recreation, enriching seminars, free-time activities and six delicious meals. The weekend begins with Friday night dinner and goes through Sunday lunch.
Theme – Get In The Game
Who goes out for a sport with their end goal of just sitting on the bench? As Christians our goal should be to run the race that God has for us! We should strive to Get in The Game, not sit on the sidelines observing. Or, if you were given unlimited free tickets to a sporting event or concert, would you just put those tickets in a drawer and never use them or invite friends to the game? No, we would call every friend, family member and say, “I have tickets to the game, it’s free, want to go?” We have been given the “Free Ticket” to the ultimate game, Eternal Life! The crazy thing is, we also know that we can invite anyone we choose to the Big Game and they can go for free too.
However, we too often tuck those tickets away, our fear of rejection or maybe embarrassment keeps us from asking others if they want to go to the game. This year’s Winter Youth we are going to focus on evangelism. Whether direct sharing of your faith or lifestyle evangelism, it’s time to be unashamed of the Gospel and do what it takes to get our family and friends in the game! Join us for Winter Youth 2017.
Theme Verse – Acts 20:24
“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”

Worship Band – Colorfair
Colorfair is a band straight out of sunny Santa Cruz California that’s using creativity and music as a response to the transforming power of the gospel. Formed by worship leaders Ryan & Lily Jones, the heartbeat of this team is simply to lead others in authentic worship and it’s their desire to see everyone proclaim Jesus as Lord. They love singing loud with friends, sharing testimony in their lyrics and… long strolls on the beach. Click here to check out one of their videos!
