Join us for a spiritually nourishing weekend of savoring God ‘s goodness with mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends.

Mother & Daughter Retreat

Dates: October 2 – 4, 2020

Check out the video from last year’s Mother Daughter Retreat!

This was a wonderful time to re-focus and redirect my Christian walk. This also gets me closer to my girls and helps me to know them better.

I was encouraged and refreshed by all the speakers. I also made some friendships that will hopefully develop into discipleship opportunities.

This was such a great opportunity to bond with my daughters.

Loved the worship, fellowship, and refreshment of being with women of God.

My favorite part was all the activities and spending time with my mom.

Have been up several times for the Mother-Daughter retreat. Such an amazing, beautiful campus. Great food! Cabins are comfortable. Such an incredible gift from God – a gorgeous natural environment in which to seek Him and grow in your relationship with Christ

Theme - Followers in Flip Flops

"Who do you follow?" "How many people follow you?" These are popular social media questions that people ask every day. Did you know that approximately 2000 years ago, Jesus asked people to follow him? In Mark 1:17, Jesus presented people with the invitation to "Come, follow me." What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus? Do we simply scroll through the pages of the Bible and glance at the "selfies" that Jesus took? Or is there something more? During our action-filled Mother Daughter weekend, young girls aged 5 and older, teens, young moms, maturing moms, and grandmas, are invited to participate in a weekend of exploration into the lessons that Jesus taught while on the seashore and at the sea and discover what it means to seek after God's Son and the Savior who desires that we become His true followers.

Hello Ladies!

The 2019 Jenness Park Mother Daughter Retreat is coming closer and closer!  Hopefully you have registered for this exciting weekend where we will be focusing on being “Followers in Flip Flops.”  We want to follow Jesus with every step that we take.  We are planning some enjoyable ways for you to be involved.  You might want to come prepared with outfits or props.

Chapels with Andrea Coli – Bring your Bible and notebook.  Prepare your heart to be encouraged and challenged as we meet together and wade into the Living Water of God’s word.

Synchronized Surf Song Energizer – Back by popular demand!!  Get your group of ladies together to lead the entire audience in a 2-minute dance that you choreograph with your favorite surf song.  Groups will lead their dance at the beginning of chapel gatherings.  Check in with Jennifer on Friday night.  Bring your song already downloaded on your cell phone.

Boardwalk Bonanza – On Friday evening we will begin our weekend with a “Boardwalk Bonanza” event complete with carnival style games, beach ball volleyball, and food that makes your mouth water.

Tidal Wave Relay – Saturday morning after chapel we will all participate in a fun-filled tidal wave challenge that will accommodate girls and ladies of all ages and ability levels.  Don’t worry, this event is NOT designed to get you messy or physically exhausted.  The goals include laughter, cooperation, and making new friends!

“Lounging at the Luau” Dinner – For Saturday night’s supper, wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt, floral sun dress, grass skirt or beach sweat shirt.

IMPORTANT!! – Register Early!! – In order to have adequate sizes and numbers of t-shirts as well as craft supplies it is vital that ladies register ASAP.  Also, keep in mind that if you register for the weekend after September 5th, you will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.  Remember that you have the opportunity to register for Friday early arrival, only $20 more per person.  Come in the morning to have additional time for crafts, recreation, and mother daughter bonding!

We are looking forward to seeing you October 4-6!  Bring some friends!!
