OUR HISTORY

Originally founded by the Jenness family, Jenness Park went under California Southern Baptist Convention’s ownership in 1953 to facilitate various pastoral, leadership and educational programming for campers of all ages. In 2020, Acts 2 Campus Network took over the stewardship of this campsite with the commitment to continue its spiritual legacy.

A cherished tradition at Jenness Park is to ring the Giant Camp Bell whenever someone professes their faith in Christ. Since we began our official records in 2000, we have seen over 8,000 people make decision to declare Jesus as their Lord and Savior! We hope to see more souls being saved in this new chapter of Jenness Park’s history!
